The Holiday season is the time to celebrate life with family and friends.
It’s during this time that I reflect on all the blessings I have received all year, the outcomes I am the most grateful for, and I stand in the center of my home, look around and exhale. Why? Because it is decorating season!!
I love dressing up my home to reflect the mood because I think it is necessary to set the tone in a way that reminds us that the spirit of joy and celebration is all around us.
How can you not be happy when you are surrounded by beauty at every turn?
The tablescape featured in this blog is my absolute favorite. I call it the Winter Woodland because I paired natural woods with soft greenery, pinecones in various sizes, hints of gold, traditional and modern glass as well as textured linens.
The touch of whimsy was achieved with the placement of the candle overload. I love the look of candles at different heights spanning the length of the table. It adds drama in a fun way!
Its the subtle touches that can make the biggest impact. From the wooden chargers to wooden napkin rings, wooden coasters and stemless champagne flutes simplicity wins every time!
I am all smiles guys. My table turned out exactly as I envisioned. I planned my purchases for this project with the ability to repurpose each piece for use elsewhere in the home or on my table again in the future.
I used a few pieces from other places in the house along with items I purchased online at great prices to create this fabulous look. If you love it like I do, please SHOP my store if you want to use some the beautiful Items I purchased.
When I invest my time and energy in creating beauty with tablescapes, I take satisfaction knowing the decorations are of great quality and will be used time and time again.
