4 bone in pork chops, thick cut
4 tablespoons of butter
1 large onion
1 1/2 cups of apple cider
1/4 cup olive oil
1 tablespoon molasses
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon of complete seasoning
1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
2 teaspoons coarsely ground black pepper
2 sprigs of fresh rosemary
Marinade – in a small bowl combine apple cider, olive oil, molasses, complete seasoning and garlic salt.
- Place chops in a 1-gallon self-sealing plastic bag; pour marinade over chops; seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator for 8 hours or overnight. Drain chops, reserving marinade.
- In a small bowl combine ground pepper and chopped rosemary.
- Press the pepper mixture onto both sides of the chops.
- Place chops in oiled cast iron over medium high heat to get the sear.
- Turn chops on each side for 3-4 mins each.
- Strain the reserved marinade.
- Place the pan into the oven at 400 degrees and cook for 15-20 mins or until the middle temp of the chop reaches 155 degrees
- In a small saucepan bring marinade to boiling. Add butter and chopped apples and onions and create your sauce. stir into mixture in saucepan and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
- Serve sauce over the chops.

Serve with rice and a veggie of choice! Soooo tasty and all of the flavors of fall.
