As the end of the holiday season and the year that is 2021 draws to a close, it’s a fitting time to reflect. It’s time to show appreciation to those who showed me great support and to look back at what was accomplished and that which fell short. Life is all about living and learning and this year I did quite a bit of both!

THANK YOU
To everyone who supports my efforts, appreciates my profession as a cosmetologist, a content creator, and a mom, I say thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your time. You all took the time to read, like, comment and share my creative work. You took the time to sit and receive the best in service I could give with appreciation for the work and the hands that delivered the work. You took an interest in my family and showed great love and support to me as a shared the highs and lows of parenting my girls. For all the love, support, guidance, laughter and tears we shared, I say thank you from the bottom of my heart. I love you guys.

REFLECTION
Professionally 2021 has been an awesome year. My businesses bounced even though the pandemic lingers on. I have welcomed many new supporters to my social media platforms, and I gained new clients for The Curl Shop and Jasmine NiKol LLC. One thing I know that contributed to my increase in these areas is consistency.

I did a great job consistently putting out content that attracted new subscribers and sponsors alike. Behind the chair, I stayed consistent in delivering great looks, and supplying top quality hair extensions for my clients. For The Curl Shop I introduced fun seasonal fragrances the clients loved as well as maintained the great formulas that have been customer favorites over the years.
I am grateful for the successes over the year and I say great job to the team who helps me pull it all off. You are my support system and I appreciate your hard work and dedication.

LOOKING AHEAD
As we move into a new season, new year, the next phase of our lives, we must do so with intention. I am a firm believer in thoughts becoming things; and my today is a result of my past thoughts and actions, it is manifest destiny. I know as I set the stage for my next set of endeavors, goals or tasks, I need to do so knowing my life will constantly change to meet them. I cannot allow fear of the unknown, self doubt or nay-sayers to stop my flow. I had a magical year, and while I continue to walk through the magic of life, I do so with a grateful heart and unwavering faith that the best for me is on the way.

One thing I want you to take away is, you can be, do or have anything you really want. You just have to figure out what it is. That is the first step.
I know what I want. I know I will have it, because I believe.
This is my final blog post for 2021. Thank you again for your love and support. May you and your family have a wonderous holiday season. Be safe, be happy, be loved.
Happy New Year.

I loved the blog. I grew up in construction from a young girl with my dad. It is beautiful to see women seeing what they can achieve. The closet was lovely as well as your achievements in your business.
I do have a question is the botanical room in your home? It is lovely. All the plants seem to be thriving. Do you have a humidifier in that room or just regular are quality and sun light.
