Let the Year End Festivities Begin

Love Love Love This Time of Year!

One of my favorite family traditions takes place every year on Christmas Eve. On the 24th of December, my little family gets together to drink hot chocolate, watch movies, and open the highly anticipated Christmas Eve Box (CEB).

This year I purchased three decorative tins from Walmart for just $3 each. I love the idea of using tins instead of boxes because they are reusable and can double as ornament storage once the season ends. My local Walmart has a very large assortment of tins to choose from, so I took my time and handpicked the perfect tins for my fiancé, our 2-year-old daughter, and 10 year old tween!

What’s In The BOX?

For Daddy

Karl’s CEB was designed for the man who likes the simple things in life.  I believe for him a great pair of pajamas, comfy socks and a small bottle of moonshine will workout just fine! Flannel Pajamas are always a great stuffer for the box because they are warm and cool at the same time.

Then there are socks!  Who doesn’t love socks?  I know I do.  Be sure to get him trendy yet quirky patterns he would never buy on his own. Add a small amount of liquor to mix and you will get NO complaints from him.

For Baby (My 2-year old)

Putting together Karli’s box was a fun time. When choosing for her, I wanted to make sure I balanced out the practical items she needed with the toys I know she wanted.

I purchased warm pajamas, colorful socks, fuzzy house shoes and two cute mini dolls from the Dollar Tree. I set a reasonable budget of $20 or less for each box so I knew the Dollar Tree would not disappoint.  I made these awesome boxes on time and within budget!

For The Big Girl (My Tweenager)

Now that Disaya is getting older she has expressed interest in being pampered, so I wanted to give her things she can use quite often to just feel special about herself.

I purchased her some relaxed fit pajamas, comfy socks and a pink planner to help her stay more organized for 2019. I also included a fragrant hand cream set because she loves to smell good and have moisturized super soft skin.

I love the idea of Christmas Eve boxes and they have become a beautiful tradition in our home.  We use the Christmas Eve Boxes in place of stockings to house those special personalized gifts we open the night before Christmas.
