Hasselback Sweet Potatoes

The ultimate fall side dish! The same flavor pallet as candied yams. This is an air-fryer recipe using the “air roast” setting.

Hasselback Sweet Potatoes

I purchased my hassleback potato guide from @amazon 

4 medium sized sweet potatoes 

Butter – 1.5 stick

Cinnamon – 1 tbsp 

 ground cloves – 1 tbsp 

Brown sugar – 1/2 cup 

Nutmeg – 1 tbsp 

Crushed pecans – 1/4 cup 

Directions –

Slice the sweet potatoes hasselback style. In a small pot melt 1 stick of the butter then add all spices and sugar. Stirring until a light boil. 


Spray the air fryer with non stick and place the potatoes inside. Alice the remaining butter and insert into a few creases on the potato. Then pour the butter mixture evenly over the potatoes. Set the air fryer to roast and cook at 400 degree for 15 mins! Remove with tongs and plate. Take the drippings from the air fryer and pour over the potatoes. Top with crushed pecans and serve!
