FOURever Golden

Our Karli Brooke has turned 4! I still can’t believe it, and although our Disney dreams came to a halt, (thanks to COVID)… I had to brainstorm to create the perfect theme to celebrate our little ball of JOY!

Theme: FOURever Golden

Four is the age where your toddler becomes a big girl, so I wanted to celebrate Karli’s personality instead of incorporating a character or typical pop culture type of theme.

Decor:

I used various shades and textures of GOLD to bring the golden vision to life.  I used white as the complementary color to add softness while allowing the gold to shine through.

I made a garland using various sizes and textures of balloons to serve as the focal point in the room.

Karli loves unicorns, so I purchased the cake from Publix and added gold paint and beads to really make it tie in to the golden theme.

Little Details:

I used gold party favor bags I purchased from Party City, which is also where I purchased the base for the balloon garland. On the table under the garland, I served the cake, cookies and golden chocolates that were a crowd favorite.

Cherry On Top:

My Karli is a water baby and the beach is her favorite place to be. To make the day even more special, we took her party from the house to the (beach) Lake Lanier Islands, to let her enjoy the day with family and friends. It was a great time and even with social distancing, she was able to celebrate her day freely doing one of the things she loves so much, swimming.

This was truly a happy birthday for my golden girl.
