A San Francisco weekend guide!

I finally made it to the beautiful city of San Francisco, CA! In two short days I was able to compact a lot of shareable information. From must try food spots to landmarks and the easiest and best ways to get there.

We stayed at the Marriott Marquis San Francisco and I must say the location was ideal and very Uber friendly for our stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean.

We had a double queen room!

This hotel recently underwent renovations giving a very modern and almost feminine aesthetic! Which we didn’t complain at all. The top floor actually has a beautiful rooftop lounge called The View!

Now let’s talk food!!! My favorite part of any trip! I’m excited to share the places we visited and to give my TRUE and honest feedback.

First up we went to Ippudous and I had their Akamaru Modern ramen dish with extra spice paste! Look at my dish here! It was soooooo good!

We then headed to Magical Ice Cream and I had a delicious Mango Fruit Tea! Soooo good and refreshing located right in the heart of Chinatown!

We then headed to Scomas and let me start by saying the view was absolutely phenomenal! Located in the historic fisherman’s wharf this takes you directly to the bay. Views unmatched for sure but unfortunately the good was just ok. I had the lobster bisque and was left pretty underwhelmed.

Scomas! You have to drive down the side road.

For breakfast we went to Honey Honey cafe and crepery. Although the restaurant was simply adorable the food left us extremely disappointed. as appealing as the menu seemed we possibly could’ve picked the wrong items. Although this was recommended by the waitress the crepe left little to be desired. I would return and try the crab cake Benedict.

Now one of my favorite food spots has to go to R &G lounge! The most authentic and tasty Chinese food I’ve had in a long time. I went with their famous Salt and Pepper Dungeness Crab! OMG… y’all have to try it. Just trust me!

For dinner I’d highly recommend La Mar ! The aesthetic, ambiance and experience was all A1 for sure. The food was amazing with great signature drinks to match.

Landmarks oh my! Ok, so you guys know that we want the photo op and the experience so let me share a few must see locations in the San Francisco area!

San Francisco

Chinatown is a MUST see! Such a staple to this city and is the oldest Chinatown in the continental US! The culture screamed every moment we spent there. The food, produce, small shops and more. I had to snag a picture under the infamous red Chinese umbrellas!

Had to commit to the shot!

The next must see will have to the Salesforce Transit Center! It’s literally a 4th floor park in the middle of downtown spanning more that 4.5 football fields! It was beyond clean and on trend giving a glimpse of peace and serenity in the middle of a metro area! This is certainly an ideal Photoworthy location!

Be sure to visit Pier 39 area! Although it’s extremely “touristy” understand that it’s a must go! Shops, restaurants, activities you make it all leading to a beautiful bay and view! take an Uber 5 minutes up the road to fisherman’s wharf as well! Be prepared to see a ton of sea lions as well!

Now you know you can’t go to San Francisco without hitting the GOLDEN GATE BRIDGE! Be sure to Uber to the North Vista Point drop off. This gives the best views and it’s easily accessible.

Bridge!

I couldn’t leave this curt without stopping by my childhood favorite movie landmark!!!! Helllllooooo Dear…. yes, I made it to the Mrs Doubtfire House! Located at 2640 Steiner St!

So there you have it! My must try/see guide for a weekend in San Francisco! If you’ve been and I missed a must see spot please let me know in the comments! Hopefully this helps snd gives you a running start to your upcoming visit to one of America’s historic cities.
